tpstar: Come on, Black! 8 ... d5 9. exf6 dxc4 10. fg Rg8 11. Re1+ Be6 12. Qxb7 Rxg7 with a Max Lange position and you're still in the game. Granted, Black loses a Pawn after 8 ... d5 9. Bb3 Nd7 (9 ... Ne4?! 10. d3) 10. Qxd5/Bxd5 0-0 but there's no immediate loss. Yet it's hard to believe Bill "Trap Master" Wall missed 6 ... Bc5? 7. Bxf7+! Kxf7 8. Qh5+ & 9. Qxc5, or even 7. Jan-02-06  DeepBlade: hahaha <tpstar> nice game, some people never watch at the long ranged Bishops, I would rather call them ''Snipers''. The game was really balanced, and sudden you dominated with 2 deadly Bishops facing kingside. So did your opponent, but you had an Queen on h6, which was Black's downfall. Ive played an similar game at school, after some pawn exchanges, people never look at what the consequenses are.

tpstar's line begs for an exchange sacrifice to collect Black's bishop pair: 12.RxBe6+ fxRe6 13.Qh5+ Kd7 14.QxBc5. See diagram below:

Position after 14.QxBc5.

White stands better, but will need to hurry to complete his queenside development.
