Honza Cervenka: White is losing material. He cannot capture the knight as Pf4 is pinned. After 18. Qd2 black can continue 18...Nc4 attacking queen and Pb2. After 18.Qd1 Qxd1 19.Rxd1 Nc4 black also wins a pawn.
Mar-29-03  panandh: After 18. Qd1 Qxd1 19.Rxd1 Rxc2 with Nc4 yet to come. White will lose 2 pawns and black will control the 7th rank completely. White has too many problems to solve including isolated advanced blocked pawns (a-file and d-file)
Nov-13-04  tldr3: panandh after 18.Qd1 Qxd1 19.Rxd1 Rxc2?? 20.fxe5 wins a peice for white
Mar-24-07  norbi.hu: tld3: ok, than 19.Rxd1 Ng4 20. move with bishop or with something another and than Rxc2; i think so is it better
