Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-18-04  Jafar219: I like this game very much!
that is all.
Nov-30-04  Jafar219: what do you think about this game?
Nov-30-04  offramp: Well, Radjabov takes route 1 to the white king. I can hardly see where Ivanchuk went wrong. 17.g4 doesn't look too good but I don't play this line. He followed up with 18.Kf2 and I thought that if he had resolutely taken his king over to the q-side he would have been all right - but I can't quite see how he could manage that. Poor Ivanchuk must have been devastated by the hurricane that came upon him.
May-07-05  Whitehat1963: Radja has beaten a proverbial who's who of chess, and while playing black to boot. I still think he stands a great chance of becoming world champion someday.
May-08-05  iron maiden: This is a rapid game, so it shouldn't count for too much. I'd say both Karjakin and Nakamura are on Radjabov's level right now in rapid play.
May-08-05  MrSifter: You really have to admire Radjabov for beating Kasparov, Anand, Ivanchuk by the time he was just 15 or 16 years old.
Mar-12-06  publiusvirgil: I myself am a fan of the KID and this really shows the momentum that can be obtained via the KID. If only I could play like that (sad face)
Oct-20-06  MyriadChoices: The knight sac and rook+queen gunning down the kingside is a common sac and theme in the KID and I for one enjoy the fire that it causes.
Nov-28-07  clma55: I dont understand why press is quite astonished with Magnus and not with Teimur..The'll be the same challengers generation against Kramnik & Anand.
Nov-08-09  coolthing76: <Chessgames> I have a photo of this game. How can I get it posted here?
Nov-11-10  sevenseaman: Ivanchuk jeopardised his game when he castled short. The position goes on detereorating thereafter.
Oct-10-13  DiscoJew: Moves 19.-29. is why I like to play the King's Indian for black.
