Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-11-07  djah805: Very interesting how White converted a Smith-Morra Gambit variation into a Fried Liver Attack because of bad choices by Black. 6. ...Na5 would break the attack. Thanks also to Mateen for the excellent collection of short games in the Sicilian.
Dec-08-11  transpo: 6...Nf6?? is a well known error in this opening because of White's next move 7.e5. Black must never move ...Nf6 before the propylactic 6...a6 denying White the crucial b5 square which is the focal point of his tactical shots after e5.

FSR: 9...Na5! is correct, when White's best is 10.Bb5! Be6 11.Nxe6+ fxe6 according to Esserman.

kingscrusher: <transpo> It seems almost playable if 7...Ng4 is played though
