Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-23-13  zydeco: Good game from the tournament's tailenders. I really like the way black plays the opening. Unfortunately for him, he can't win the b4 pawn: 16....Rb8 17.Qc2 Nxb4 18.Bxb4 Rxb4 19.Qc6+.

White gets a long-lasting initiative with 18.d4 and 20.Ra3!

Black turns it around with pressure on the e-file: 35....Qe7 and 36....Re3 and 37.Qxc7?? loses to 37....Re1+.

It's not completely clear which side is playing for a win towards the end of the game. The draw is 57....Qe3+ 58.Qxe3 dxe3 and white doesn't have time for 59.Rb4 because of 59....e2 so black (at last) wins the b-pawns.
