  wwall: Perhaps 27...Qd7 or 27...g6.

Perhaps better is 30...Qd5. White should still win after 31.Qxd5 Nbxd5 32.Bxg8 Rxg8 33.e4 Nf4 34.Rxg7 Rxg7 35.Bxf6.

Or 31.Bxg6 fxg6 32.Rxg6 Rxg6 33.Qxg6 Qf8 34.Bxf6+ Qxf6 35.Qxf6+ Kh7 36.Qg7 mate.

After 32.Rg7, White threatens 33.Rh7 mate.

White misses a mate in two. 33.Rh7+! Kxg8 34.Rh8 mate.

Or 34.Rg6 Qf8 35.Bxf6+ Qxf6 36.Rxf6, threatening 37.Rxh6 mate.

After 35.Rxd7, 35...Qxd7 36.Bxf6+ leads to mate.

Apr-12-12  parisattack: Landau played some smooth, easy-to-understand yet sparkling chess!
Dec-17-16  Saniyat24: If White plays 33.Rh7 then it would have been checkmate...
May-18-20  TheBish: This is an amazing game, with the only blemish being White missing the mate in 2 on move 33. A few options here for a POTD, including 29. Bh7! and 31. Bxg8!!.
