Oct-17-03  patzer2: Perhaps the unusual 3...e5 is a good way to decline the smith-mora as indicated by the result here and in M Lukas vs Jens Techen, 2001 However, I have not analyzed it fully yet, and the small number of games against strong players should be a reason for caution -- but the surprise value and open lines of attack for black in these two games look appealing.
