Kibitzer's Corner
Jun-02-05  Autoreparaturwerkbau: Hmmm, this guy has 50 games in database, has a rating of 2500 and was never kibitzed ...

In this game i like the breakthru through the wall of pawns. Otherwise it is not a game of high quality.

Jun-02-05  Milo: Whenever it seems that you have a strong attacking position, but your opponent's defense will be hard to break, and you're wondering whether to sacrifice a piece, look at this game... because this is what will happen if you don't.
Jun-02-05  jumperino: What happens if 51 Qxb6+? Does black have mating position? I was thinking along the lines of: 51 Qxb6+ axb6 52. Rb2 Qf1+ 53. Kc2 Qe2+ Kb1 Qd1+ Ka2 then what? Black runs out of checks, and white has a very strong queening pawn??
Jun-02-05  slapwa: If 51 Qxb6+ axb6 52. Rb2 (otherwise Rc3+) then … Rd1+ 53. Kxd1, Qxb2 54. Ra4, c3 55. Ke1, c2 looks good enough.
Jun-02-05  jumperino: Yup, that would do it. I didn't see Rd1+ - thanks!
