  Nightsurfer: Komisch: Hätte Weiß nicht nach 21. ... g6 (??) statt mit 22.h3 (?) ... einfach gewinnen können mit: 22.Rxc6! Qxd2 23.Rd6+ Ke7 24.Nxd2 ... oder habe ich etwas übersehen?!
Apr-15-11  aniceto: Du hast Recht. 22.Rxc6! 1-0
Apr-15-11  Nietzowitsch:

"Arme Menschen! Wie gleicht ihr in allen euren Unternehmungen dem Schachspieler, der 'die Parte' hätte gewinnen können... Jede Schuld rächt sich - am Schachbrett."

-- Savielly Tartakower

Apr-15-11  Jim Bartle: White wins a piece with 22. Rxc6, but as I see it, black can pick off white's a and b pawns by moving the rook to c8 and c2, so maybe it's not decisive.
Apr-15-11  aniceto: <Jim Bartle> That's true, but I couldn't say all that in German ;)

Nightsurfer: <Jim Bartle> Thank you so much for translating my obscure idiom - that I have used by mistake ...!! - into a language that everybody understands!
