Gregor Samsa Mendel: In spite of missing the win of a pawn with 1..c5, Gligoric manages to beat Smith here. White's fatal stinker was 33 Re3? After 33 Qd1 The Computer says that black would have only a minimal advantage.

An Englishman: Good Evening: Well no wonder Ken Smith lost--instead of sacrificing a pawn, he accepted a pawn sacrifice. Never had a chance after that.
Sep-24-18  RookFile: Smith had a perfectly reasonable position after 20 moves. Then he loses control over the 32 light squares on the board to win a measly pawn.
