  MissScarlett: Another of the tactical oversights that dogged Rubinstein's career. 40.Bd6 looks killing, of course, <40.Bd6 Re8 41.Qe5 Qe6 42.Qxe6+ Kxe6 43.Bxe7 Rxe7 44.Re2+>; the perpetual must've come as a complete shocker. Either 40.Bf6 or Qg3 would've eliminated the possibility.
