Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-04-20  Strategsson: This was a great game from Znosko. After obtaining the advantage of the bishop pair in the opening, Black adds to this a mobile pawn majority on the kingside and is already considerably better after his 17th move. A breakthrough on the kingside is called for but Znosko first makes sure to improve everything in his position and prefaces this offensive by first shutting down White's counterplay on the other side of the board. The breakthrough finally comes and is worked out beautifully starting with 25...Ng6 planning the fantastic pawn sacrifice 26...h5! followed by another one; 27...f3! Bravo!
