Kibitzer's Corner
May-21-06  syracrophy: white's idea when playing 35.Qxg6?? was that after 35...Rxg6 36.Nxg6+ recovering the queen, with a piece of advantage, but white forgot that his knight was pinned, so white resigned.

Phony Benoni: Oh, by the way, if you're wondering why White didn't play 25.exf4, the answer is he couldn't. Black had actually played 23...Nh4, not 23...Nf4. (American Chess Bulletin, September / October 1924, p. 165.)
