  tpstar: At London 1904, Teichmann varied with 9 ... 0-0 10. Bb3 Re8 but lost (1-0, 28). Here he tried 9 ... Bxf3 10. gxf3 Qd7 weakening White's Kingside, yet Black's King proved to be even less safe. Fine Rook sacrifice (24. Rxc5!) opening lines; if 25 ... Kg7 26. Qe7+ Kg6 27. Nf4+ Nxf4 28. Qf6+ Kh5 29. Bg4#. At the end, 26 ... Kd8 27. Qd6+ mates.
