Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-02-15  Ulhumbrus: 11...Qd7 is an eccentric looking move. As Lasker has played it this suggests without proving that an eccentric looking move can be the right move. The move is the first of a pair, a pair of which the second move is ...Qf5. The move 11...Qd7 prevents the move e6 which 11...Bd7 does not.

The manoeuvre 16...Nd8 gets ready for ...Ne6. Black's queen's bishop is going to go to a6.

The piece sacrifice 27 Bxc5 does not succeed. If it is a an example of blindness caused by fatigue one example of what Teichmann could have overlooked is that on 29 g3 Nxh3 Black's queen attacks white's queen.

kingscrusher: This game has Vladimir Kramnik written all over it!. Black actually is much better soon out of the opening with the bishop pair, and a super solid position.
