piltdown man: I see what you did there.
Oct-06-19  thegoodanarchist: Hotel California is the best song ever made by Eagles.
Oct-06-19  morfishine: Sorry <thegoodanarchist>, the best song by the Eagles was 'Peaceful Easy Feeling' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Njo...

"Hotel" was flush-worthy elevator music

lol

kreugerl: Sorry <morphyshine> but “Peaceful Easy...” reminds me of something by the Carpenters, whereas “Hotel....” is an all time classic!

Breunor: Good technique by black, first defending and then converting the endgame!

I'm also voting fort Hotel California!

Oct-06-19  Count Wedgemore: Best Eagles song? Take it easy, guys. No need to take it to the limit. Anyway, going through this game is not wasted time. Henley is the new kid in town! He played like a desperado and won. 59.Kxb5 was the last resort by Tarjan, but the game had already gone away from him. This game gave me a peaceful easy feeling, I will go through it more thoroughly one of these nights when I'm back in the city. Well, the best of my love to you guys, I'm gonna have a tequila sunrise on the balcony with a witchy woman by my side. Perhaps I will try and love again..greetings from Hotel California.

And best Eagles song? Lyin' Eyes

moronovich: Which reminds me of feemale friend of mine, who once offered me a ride,to my appartment. "But I warn you moro,I am not a very good driver, but I drive fast! "
Oct-07-19  morfishine: I had the fortune to play GM Henley in a simul back in 1992. Silly me tried to play a Gruenfeld and lasted 33 moves

There were 15 opponents and I remember I had played my Queen to <a6> threatening to penetrate to <e2>. He moved to my game and looked at the board for about 5 seconds before moving. I knew I was toast soon

Yeah, maybe <morf> is a Carpenters/Captain and Tennille/Dan Fogelberg kind of guy.

As they said on "Seinfeld", not that there's anything wrong with that

;)
