  Honza Cervenka: 17...hxg6 would have been somewhat better but it's still not very good for black, for example 18.Bxf6 Bxf6 [18...Nxf6 19.Bxg6! fxg6 20.Qe6+ Kh8 21.Rf3 Bf8 22.Rh3+ Nh5 23.Nf7+ Kh7 (23...Kg7 24.Nxd8 Rxe6 25.Nxe6+ ) 24.Rxh5+! gxh5 (24...Kg7 25.Nxd8 Rxe6 26.Nxe6+ ) 25.Qf5+ Kg7 26.Nxd8 ] 19.Nxd7 Bg7 20.Na4 with huge advantage of white who is threatening not only Nxb6 but also Rxf7.

It is almost unbelieveable how terrible game black got here after playing quite reasonably looking or simply forced moves.:-)

Apr-29-11  Nilsson: It is amazing to see Maestro Tal, after a quiet opening, totally destroy black king! After 14.f4 blacks reply 14...Bd6?
give white killing advantage.
But what else?
Perhaps 14...Bf8 In any case white is better...

kingscrusher: Blimey this is over 20 years past when Mikhail Tal was world champion and he is apparently Rank 10th= in the rating list for January 1982:

Ahead of British Grandmasters Nunn, Miles, and Speelman :)
