Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-18-04  Peter Trujillo: even though this game was a draw, I think it is an excelent example of a king hunt. It is good enough to deserve attention.
Dec-22-06  Nikita Smirnov: What was the first name of Ripatti?
Oct-25-09  dannygjk: 11.f5!?
Nov-07-09  WhiteRook48: Ripatti was lucky to draw this one

Black (to play and two pawns down) can force perpetual check with 41...Qa1+ 42.Ke2 Qd4 43.Qf3 Qd2+ 44.Kf1 Qc1+ 45.Ke2 Qd2+. Determined defence by Ripatti against the 13-year-old Tal in fine sacrificial form.

This would make an excellent Tuesday problem (Black to play and draw).

Apr-11-17  MrJafari: Instructive even though not so interesting game!
