Is Taimanov still playing?

FSR: He's too busy with other things these days - doesn't have Taimanov to play chess.
Jun-19-15  zydeco: 39.e4 doesn't work because of 39....Nd4 40.Bxd7 Ne2+.

I think 41....h4 is the losing move. I don't see how white makes progress after 41....Kf6. Averbakh's idea is if 42.Rxe5 Qd6 and the rook can't get out of the pin; if 42.Qxe5+ Qxe5 43.Rxe5 Kf6 and white's king is badly positioned. But Taimanov just waits a couple of moves and picks off the h4 pawn.
