Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-08-07  ALEXIN: Wow 18. knxh2 is strong, giving advantage.
Sep-10-07  nummerzwei: If you mean 19.KxNh2, I have to disagree, because in this case white is hammered apart with 19...RxNc3!!(the point is that after 20.QxRc3 Bxb4 white loses his queen due to the mating threat.
Sep-10-07  Karpova: He rather meant 18...Nxh2 and expressed his admiration for this move (Kn = Knight though unusual, for sure)
May-20-09  notyetagm: <nummerzwei: If you mean 19.KxNh2, I have to disagree, because in this case white is hammered apart with 19...RxNc3!!(the point is that after 20.QxRc3 Bxb4 white loses his queen due to the mating threat.>

Wow, I have seen that variation in a problem at the <Chess Tactics Server (CTS)> but did not know that it was from a Stein game.

Feb-19-12  talisman: 31...♗xe5 ain't bad either.
May-02-12  screwdriver: <talisman: 31...xe5 ain't bad either.> Yes, and that gave black his 2nd pawn and pretty much the undisputed win. The game sort of playe itself out naturally after that nice sacrifice on e5.
