Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-20-04  Deji: White's downfall. In my own opinion, white should have played Q X Kn on move 29 pinning the rook down to the king
Aug-20-04  PawnBlock: Nice thought about the pin on move 29. There is a tactical problem with it though- W loses protection for the R on e1. So: 29. Qxe5? Qxe1+ 30. Kg2 Qf1#

I don't understand the point of 13. Rfe1. There doesn't seem to be immediate hope of opening the e-file and that R would have been very useful in defending f2 later.

Jul-17-11  ColeTrane: at least capture it w/the knight
May-11-13  Bowen Island: In Spielmann's "The Art of Sacrifice in Chess" he recommends 20 f4 as an improvement over Rd6.
