Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-22-05  asuka: why resign so early?
Sep-22-05  Poulsen: White is not only a pawn down - he doesn't have any active play (f.x. 26.Bh6,Bg7) - and his queenside pawn's are weak.

Black on the other hand can push forward the e- and f-pawns, put pressure on the whites weak pawns and go for an attack on whites king.

Maybe white can hold on for another 20 moves or so, but thats all ...

Nov-16-10  ahmadshah: but still.. this is too far fetched. Its really too early to resign.

tamar: Last round decision. Even a loss gave Spielmann equal 3rd 4th prize, so he resigned a few moves early.
Mar-14-21  Hokey pokey: He's 2 pawns down.
