Feb-17-09  Dredge Rivers: Note the black pawn that survives on c2 from move 15 to move 27. White is forced to exchange a rook for a bishop and a pawn in order to eliminate it. Spassky then finishes Pilnik off with relentless efficiency.

The game was adjourned at this point, and White resigned without resuming play.
