Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-27-02  ughaibu: Gligoric's plan is clear but subtle, 20. Ra3!!
Dec-27-02  pawntificator: It's a fine plan to transfer the queen rook to the kingside via the 3rd rank, but it seems the plan could have been foiled somewhere along the way.
Nov-12-13  zydeco: 30....Qd2 is bizarre: why give up the g6 pawn?
Nov-12-13  Retireborn: after 30...Qd2 31.Rf1 Qh6! Black is OK and his c-pawn is ready to roll; 32.Ng5 can be met by 32...f5. It's 31...f5 which is the real blunder.
Nov-21-13  zydeco: <Retireborn> Good point.

dernier loup de T: For instance, after 31..Qh6 32.Ng5 f5 33. Qg3 Re7!, the analyses show that the endgame could have been won in a superb way by Smyslov... But since his gruesome defeat of 1958, (WCS), Smyslov seems to have been psychologically weekened for some years...
