Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-05-05  lronTigran: Nice ending, black must not have seen it, otherwise it's doubtful that he would've sacrificed the bishop.
Jan-05-05  delterp: The key, of course, is the skewer.

Sep-11-09  King.Arthur.Brazil: With 19.Nd4 the Be6 is attacked and also Nxc6 doubbles the c6/c4 Ps. So changing the N is forced but open 'e' column and give space for Q to KS attack. So I guess the reply Tf-e8 was forced also! But after d5! white has superior pos. Also on 22.Rbc1 Td8!, so if 23. Qf4 Bd5 first! But I'm sure Smyslov would play 23.d5, then Bxc3 24.Rxc3 T7d7! fighting. 27..Rf6 is another fault, as the blocking R move away from d5, ending with the wrong combination Re7 which lose directly. But black position still is hopeless.
