May-29-05  aw1988: Yes, I saw, both very pretty games.
May-29-05  MrSifter: Plaskett was the man in british chess during the early-mid 80's!!! Brilliant tactician. See also his beatiful win over Anand a few years later.
Jun-04-05  Poisonpawns: A birthday present for NIgel :-)

Richard Taylor: Great game by Plaskett
Jun-23-09  ToTheDeath: Great piece sacrifice for a powerful central pawn phalanx. Perhaps it should have been declined with 14...Qd8 although White is a bit better here too.

<21...Qb8?> is a decisive error, 21...Bxd5! 22.Nxd5 Nxd5 23.Bxd5 Nxe5! keeps Black in the game.

Mar-18-21  GlennOliver: As the other kibitzers have noted, this is really top-class and highly original tactical play from Plaskett.
