I realize that you're long gone but I'll say this anyway. Salwe didn't overlook the back rank mate, he just blundered by playing a move even I wouldn't have played.. 30..Nxe4??

If he couldn't see the bishop move coming I wonder how he'd have faired against any 1800 rated player of today.
