fredthebear: Black does a marvelous job of protecting his backward e-pawn on the half-open file. 38...Qd8 is a key move that allows Black to seize the initiative by attacking the White queen. This is a positional masterpiece by Lev Psakhis; slowly but surely working his way forward!
