May-08-15  SpiritedReposte: Very well played. It would be interesting to see some computer evaluations to see where black went wrong.
May-09-15  Retireborn: In Informator, Hort criticizes 23...Ne6 giving 23...h6 as better. However, Houdini thinks the problems start with 16...Ne4, and suggests instead 16...Bxf3 17.gxf3 d5 18.cxd5 Nfxd5 19.Bxe5 Qg5+ 20.Bg3 c4; apparently then the passed c-pawn offers compensation, and although White's bishops look impressive there is not much they can attack.
Jul-14-16  zydeco: 29.Rd5! is a shot. I thought black was winning material (and presumably thought the same way) until 29.Rd5 ruins black's setup.

After that, Timman works hard to wriggle free, but none of the tactics work out for him e.g. 31.Bg5!

So maybe the whole forcing line with 24....Ne4 is objectively good for white, but it's very hard to see that.
