  keypusher: By the way, is there a reason Black didn't play 34....Nxe5? Positionally it seems like a no-brainer (at least to this no-brainer), so there was probably some justification for avoiding it that I am not seeing.

The finish is impressive -- there is a massive trade-off, then the pretty 45. Be7!

I think as nasty as the White Knight is on c6, if you play Nxe5, it comes around via d4 to e6 and that is even nastier.
