Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-02-08  Murphyman: In Petrosians first 13 moves he sticks to the principle of move each piece only once in the opening unless there is a tactic and reaches a position that is fully playable
Sep-12-08  notyetagm: Wow, just check out Petrosian's incredible <KNIGHT PLAY> on moves 31-36.

Sep-19-16  ewan14: Furman seems to beat himself imho
Aug-05-17  zydeco: 22.b4 and 23.Na2 both look really dubious. The game turns into a massacre.
Aug-15-17  A.T PhoneHome: Furman couldn't capture Petrosian's queen with his rook as Petrosian would've won the exchange after 31... Nc2.

Also, because Furman couldn't play the aforementioned rook move, he was deprived of an extra defender of h3, which made the whole sequence starting with 31... Nh3 possible (32. gxh3 would've been followed by 32... Nf3+, again winning the exchange).

Brutal stuff!

Aug-15-17  Howard: Good to know you're still out there, AT ! We haven't heard from ya in awhile.
Mar-11-19  Garech: It was to Petrosian's advantage that his opponents never knew when he would suddenly start playing like Tal!
