Messiah: Oh dear, this is a real fiasco! Those queen moves are hideous. :(

An Englishman: Good Evening: Chistiakov must have cherished this, his first game v. Petrosian--he lost every game with the future WC after this one. Nonetheless, can you imagine how it must feel to say that you once beat a future World Champion?

Teyss: <An Englishman> Must feel great. Carlsen vs Nepomniachtchi, 2011

Petrosian outpetrosianed.

Mar-27-22  goodevans: Black went after White's weak h-pawn with single-minded determination but ironically it was his own h-pawn that succumbed.

Some care was needed, though, as down that end of the board White Q might get trapped. Indeed after 38...Nc6, and for the entire remainder of the game, she had nowhere to go.

Not that that mattered in the least as there was nothing Black could do to stop the K-side advance.
