nasmichael: In 1982, Nunn was 27, --Smyslov, 61.

Tilburg is a municipality and a city in the Netherlands, located in the southern province of Noord-Brabant. Tilburg municipality also includes the villages of Berkel-Enschot and Udenhout.

--Tilburg info from Wikipedia--thanks.

Incidentally, the Province of North Brabant has a red and white checkered flag. (Nice touch.)

Nov-24-05  csmath: Tilburg used to host supertournaments in 1980ies.
Smyslov managed to make candidate matches in 1982 and then proceeded to the finals! There in 1983 he was stopped by Kasparov, talking about achievements of a 62-year-old man 25 years after he was a world champion. He is 10 years older than Victor Korchnoi that is usually noted as an example of age defying fortitude.

HeMateMe: Gettin it Dunn at age 61. Nunn's DS Bishop is blocked in, and Symslov creates a winning passed pawn.
