Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-26-12  Ulhumbrus: One thing which one can say to begin with about the move 24 Rd2! is as as follows. Black can't answer the capture 24 Bxb8 with 24...Qxb8 as his queen has to defend the bishop at f6 but he can answer it with 24..Rxd1+ 25 Rxd1 Ne2+ displacing White's king from his defence of the rook on d1. After 24 Rd2 the move ..Rxd2 in reply to Bxb8 comes with less effect. That is a beginning.
Oct-14-16  Howard: GM Kenneth Rogoff highly praised the move 24.Rd2 !! in some book review that he wrote in CL back in about 1982.
