  Open Defence: Black resigns...

if 39...Kc6 then White has mate in 8 by 40.Rxc5+ Kb7 41.Nd6+ Kb6 42.Rec8 Qa1+ 43.Kh2 Qc3 44.a5+ Qxa5 45.R5c6+ Ka7 46.Be3+ Qc5 47.Bxc5#

if 39...Kd5 40. Nc3+ followed by Nxa2 and White's material superiority is overwhelming

Great Queen sacrifice on move 30.. ironically on a2 where after the Black Queen is misplaced and out of it...
