patzer2: Levenfish's 26. Nxg6+! is the solution to number 1737 in Chess Informant's Encyclopedia of Chess Middle Games/Combinations. The theme of the combination is "Demolition of Pawn Structure" via "Sacrifice at g6 (g3)."

Notice how 29. Qg5! threatens 30. Qf6 Rf7 31. Rg8+ Qxg8 32. Rxg8 Kxg8 33. Qh8#

30. Bxe5! is a strong move for continuing the attack. If Black replies 30...Rxe5, then White wins after 31. Qd8+ Re8 32. Rg8+ Qxg8 33. Rxg8+ Kxg8 34. Qxe8+ Kg7 35. Qxc8 with a winning material advantage.
