  chancho: Kramnik had Timman's number.
Feb-06-12  LoveThatJoker: In the 2000 book, "Kramnik: My Life and Games", the analysis of this game focuses on Black's 19th move. Timman's 19...Bf6 is criticized as dubious.

They make refernce to a game played between Kramnik and Anand which ended as a draw for The Tal Memorial in 1995:

Jun-07-13  King Sacrificer: What a play! My worst score in Guess The Move so far. I always felt like losing.
Sep-07-13  JoergWalter: Take your time and compare the final position from this game with the position which occured after 36.Re8 in this one: Morphy vs G Salmon, 1858

Timman resigned at move 32 he knew how to win it. Morphy demonstrated the win (in a blindfold simul!)
