  fredthebear: In the final position, the White queen is far more threatening than the Black queen. If 38...Nf3+ 39.RxNf3 and the White queen threatens mate on two different squares. The Black queen does not have time to recapture the rook, as checkmate must be prevented. None of the Black pieces have useful moves.

  Fusilli: Black set up the hedgehog but starting with 12...Qb8 starts fumbling and playing aimlessly. My recollection of this set up for black is Qc7 instead of Qb8, then Rac8 and maybe there Qb8 and Qa8. After 12...Qb8 and the clumsy Ra7 and Ba8 black pieces are not in harmony. Korchnoi proceeds to punish.
