This game was played in the <USSR Team Championship 1961> in Moscow, 22-28 December.

<Smyslov> played 1st board for Burevestnik and <Korchnoi> played 1st board for Trud.

In the board one final, Burevestink and Trud shared 1st with Soviet Army (Geller), ahead of Avangard (Stein), Daugava (Tal) and Spartak (Petrosian).
