Kibitzer's Corner
Mar-31-06  gulliver: Today , Friday March 31st 2006 is Korchnoi's birthday. Korchnoi is 75 years old. Happy birthday Viktor. In the above game he surprised Simagin, who chose a nice combination but Korchnoi did not follow in the "wanted" path. (Move 27 for black is the first surprise
Mar-31-06  jamesmaskell: Korchnoi's birthday was the 23rd March not today.
Feb-19-18  Adenosina: I found this game a very interesting one! Not only is Korchnoi 27 ... Rf7! a very nice move since it asks White if his light-squared bishop is worth a rook, but also 29 ... Be6!! is a stunning defensive move.
