Jul-16-18  ughaibu: It's rather interesting that Tolush not only had a positive unbeaten score against Korchnoi, he also was better in most of the draws. I would have thought Tolush to be the epitome of the kind of player Korchnoi was meant to do well against.
Jul-16-18  Straclonoor: <It's rather interesting that Tolush not only had a positive unbeaten score against Korchnoi, he also was better in most of the draws.> Korchnoi was antiTal. Tolush was antiKorchnoi with same style like Tal-:)

Interesting that according to Schredder 6-man TB only 68....Rc4 save the draw, and Tolush finded this move!

Jul-16-18  ughaibu: You mean Korchnoi found 68....Rc4.
Jul-16-18  Straclonoor: <You mean Korchnoi found 68....Rc4.> Of course. Thanks!
Also positive scores vs. Korchnoi had Smyslov and Keres.
