  nasmichael: I read a nice article on Koltanowski's method of visualizing the board; he used to put a board over his bed, and visualize the squares as he drifted off to sleep, splitting the board into quadrants, and moving the pieces in his mind. Every night as a child. Devotion? Perhaps. Maddening? Also a possibility. Effective? Blind simuls give a bit of evidence to the positive. Am I going to do it? Ask tomorrow.
