Dec-03-04  ruylopez900: A good example of why the max lange is sound. Black tries to grab pawns and play less then perfect moves and gets killed. I'm not saying its won for white, but black can't just play anything and expect equality much less to hold onto the pawn.
Jul-19-11  swr: 12...Nxe5 was the ultimate blunder which loses the Queen or allows checkmate. That being said, even 6...Ng4 looks dubious.

  perfidious: While I've never played this variation with either colour, hasn't this old line with 5.d4 gotten some attention in recent years?
