May-01-20  Muttley101: 23. Re7 Nd6 is clearly wrong, unless I'm missing some reason why black can't simply play 23 ... N:e7. I suspect the game finished something like 23. Bc2 Nd6 24. Re7 Rd7 (or Qc8) 35. Qg6. Maybe there is a more accurate game score somewhere else.

  John Saunders: I've just posted a collection of games from this event at BritBase - https://www.saund.org.uk/britbase/p... - which shows a different ending to this game. Though I've given a reference - CHESS, Vol.2 page 203 - I don't personally have access to this volume at present. Could someone who does please look it up and check.
