Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-23-04  thesonicvision: 5. Kg2 Qxh2+
6. Kf3 Qxh1+
Apr-13-04  d4Nf6Bg5: <thesonicvision> why not 5.Kg2 Qxh2+? 6.Rxh2 gxh2 7.Kxg2 and white is doing ok- has a queen for a rook and two pawns (9 to 7, if you want to start counting). Not to mention white has the center.
Jul-28-04  myratingstinks: one of the strangest opens I have seen.....
Jul-29-04  sneaky pete: Schiller calls this the Drunken King Gambit, but The Tumbleweed is a more common name. See J Fort vs W Campbell, 1913 for an earlier example. In the present game black is cooperative beyond belief to reach a lost position.
Feb-19-13  billyhan: I think Morphy, as White, could have had a lot of fun with this opening.
