Benzol: <nasmichael> This looks like a 19th century encounter Spassky vs V Mikenas, 1959 but Spassky always seemed to have tough tactical fights with Mikenas.

nasmichael: <Benzol>: thanks for the game ideas. I will be sure to visit them.
Dec-25-14  PolishPentium: Any merit in Black (Leonhardt) trying the putative swindle 23... Bd6? Seems as if White gets greedy and goes Rook hunting he might overlook the danger to his King and get mated... Oh, forget that! 24 e5 defangs any threat. Good for White, bummer for PP's thesis^^
Dec-25-14  PolishPentium: On third (!?) thought, things are not so clear-cut for W after all. A certain strength in Black's raking Bishops! Maybe 23...Bd6 is worth the attempt? Thoughts, anyone?
