plang: Salwe played 4..Nc6 three times against Rubinstein losing all 3; 4..Nf6 and 4..Bg4 are the main lines. A year earlier Rubinstein had played 7 0-0 against Salwe; here he varied with 7 d5. 18..h5 followed by ..h4 with the idea of getting a knight to f4 was suggested as an improvement. Instead, 21..Nh5 and 22..Nxg3 just strengthened White's position. 25..g5 was another positional suggestion. White gave away most of his advantage with 31 Qf4?; he should have played 31 Rhe1 first. Black, however, did not take advantage missing 32..g5! which would have pit him back in the game.
