Jun-10-14  zydeco: Heartbreaking game for Olafsson. He could have won with 39.h4 threatening Bh3 and Qc8; or with 40.Bxe5; or with 42.Qh6 Qf7 43.Qg5 Ne8 44.Bxe5.

This is a terrible game for white's light-squared bishop. In the endgame Olafsson should have tried b3 at some point (with the bishop on d1) to break the light-square bind on the queenside.

An important tactic is 51.Bxe5 h5! 52.Be2 Nxe5 53.Qf8+ Kh7 when black is safe.
