  perfidious: Keres displays his characteristic tactical alertness here with the interpolation 17....e3, leading to defoliation of the enemy king's pawn cover.

The concluding move of the game also provides a nice touch, in that 25.Qxd8 would be met by 25....Qxe4.

All in all, a fine candidate for POTD.
