Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-09-18  sakredkow: I thought I was learning something watching Karpov's strong arm tactics maneuvering his pieces against the queenside. The interesting part starts at around 21. Be4 ... and then 23. Nc5 24. Ba5, and 25. Na6! (look out for the mate, Tony!). At that point I noticed the computer really, really liked 27. Bxd6 instead of Karpov's 27. Bc6.

Trying to figure out why was a puzzle, but 27...Nxd6 28. h4! (which I just couldn't find) puts black in an awful bind. Black needs to defend against Bh3, and it's a lot of fun working out why none of black's responses seem to work. So is it a missed win here?
